Living and painting the wild horses ,ocean and wildlife of Assateague and Chincoteague Island has expanded my love of painting for the last twenty eight years. The diversity in my maritime paintings has intensified from living on Eastern Shore and in the tropical Caribbean. Now retired and living full time on Vieques Island, Puerto Rico has inspired my painting to a new level I have not felt since I was learning to paint".

Painting on Vieques Island
Everyday is incredible beautiful. To wake up every morning and be look out at the ocean, watch the hummingbirds, and listen to nature is total serenity. There is not a day that my mind is constantly clicking pictures in my head to save for the next painting. I am so fortunate to be here, it took years of hard work. Working my gallery in Chincoteague Island seventy to eighty hours a week in season, is what made it possible to retire and paint on Vieques. Chincoteague will always stay close to my heart and paint brush.
